Long awaited "movie review" post.

It's been quite a long time, i "Review" about movies i watched in cinema. Reasons are because as i "grow older", my tastes slowly changing again , i think. coz lately all the movies i watched is like SO SO only even though the ratings are very high.

Example like Pirates, so so only, Thor So so only. (last month)

Xmen( one of my favorite movies of all time) but this one also SO so only. All the highly publicized one all SO SO only! why! i cannot understand! i wanna go into cinema and come out super excited and happy like before! unlike now, MEH, ok ok only.

I love dramas more now, coz it's long and detailed,  every aspect of it; is covered. well. The STORYLINE is important now, previously, as long as there are ACTIONS, i would be satisfied. yeah i think it;s this thing.

It's becoming clear now, as i blog about this, few years back, ACTIONS= NICE, no action = no nice. hahaha


Guess i have reached the age now, oh no!


Watched PAUL online yesterday, weird though, not yet premiere in Brunei yet, but yet already can watch  very clear version  in the internet liao! all hail internet!

PAUL VERY VERY NICE!! hahahah 8/10.

And HANNA, also not available in cinema yet, but can watch online already, this SUCKS! typical Child assassin movie, and it's very the not nice, well, not worth to watch it in the cinema la, watch online/dvd can liao. 5.5/10

Steven Spielberg movie, weird, the camera /lens isn't all that important AT ALL! haha, it was okay la, probably because the Qlap cineplex is very very good, with the nice seats, surrounds sounds, nice screen and etc. The movie ah, not bad. can see some E.T, Jurassic Park 1& 3(scenes) in this movie somewhere.hahaha!
7/10?? no idea actually.

FYI, I LOVE JURASSIC PARK!

I should blog about something, but what...hmm

should start counting down to July liao, need to buy this and that also. and worry bout my salary of May & June before i leave.Should start stealing packing stuff from office. Should really buy some high tech+ quite pricey thing, if not will sad.but what?

Should stop obsessing with Cafe World, and get back to real life. Also, been working hard to tie up all the loose ends back here in Brunei. Been quite successful i guess, so. moving on!

Some asked me what's my new job, truth is, it's quite difficult to say, but i will say this.

Part of my job description is to:

1. Stand for at least 4 hours per day.(i think)
2. Standing  in different areas.
3.Standing during odd hours, eg. early morning or midnight.
4.Providing "quality" service(s) to random people ( guy/girl/men/women)
5.Commissions/tips are deducted and need to be handed over to "atas" people.
6.Being demanded to do everything & ANYTHING, not allowed to say NO. ( which includes, kneeling, squatting down and "bending over")
7.Need to wear nice clothes, set nice hair, polished shoes and etc. Have to be presentable.
8.Must be on call everyday, when people demands it, i should/must be prepared to/for work.
9.LOW PAY
10. It's Quite "glamorous", like what the Bumiputra people says it, you get to wear nice clothes to work etc etc.but mehh

So yeah, basically these are  my job descriptions lo..

Let's break up.

This is my first time quiting my first real job, ( part time waiter doesn't counts). It's weird though, people are normally nervous before and during a job interview, but i don't have any feeel at all. like normal talking nia.

But when it comes to resigning/quiting, i find it super hard to do, in this case only. As i mentioned yesterday, if the boss is still here, it would be sooo much easier, NAH old man! bye! the end. but in this case different lo, so after i put the letter on my manager's desk, i went out for tour, and after i came back to the office, seems like nothing happened one, i don't know, it's very the weird!! cannot be he didn't see the letter!, cannot be someone else took it, cos there's no people in the office.

But how come he act like nothing happened?! omg! this is so weird! and it's awkward for me to ask it also!! eeee!!!! he also awkward maybe?

This reminds  me of a bad case of breakup, eg. break up liao. but still have to see each other, cannot don't want  see（不能不要见) , then both party awkward there. 、keep changing subject, talking bout work and other stuff.  Very alike this scenario kan!?!

Aiyer...still got 28 days to "break the ice" i guess

1 month notice.

Today's the day,  quite important day, the day SNSD releases new album and also;the day i will finally stop questioning myself(today only), have to thank all the people who gave advises, opinions. No thanks to those who never cared, you should know who you are!.

Today is also the 1 year 1 month anniversary of my time working in Brunei, although last year on may 29 30 31, it was a very very good yet very very  bad experience for me. See here and here for the stories in case you have  forgotten.. But oh well, let by gone be by gone, i supposed.

Will have a "Brand" new beginning elsewhere.

Oh, in case you didn't know , the purpose of this post is to inform my readers/friends(those who DID NOT chat-ed with me) that im officially resigning from the company im in now, and  pursue new challenges elsewhere.

Have already gotten a job and will start working on July 1 2011, but i have yet to tender my resignation. Because my manager is such a good person, not giving opportunities to me, but a very good. person, will have to do it by today though.....has been google-ing again for ways and etc.

Some asked me why would i resign from such a good job, doing nothing, earning "quite" much and carefree bla bla bla. All of those are true i guess, but i don't think it's suitable for long term lo, and saying salary is high is not THAT high also. and most importantly i don't think im happy here in Brunei, may it be the lack of entertainments,  text messages, phone calls , places to have decent food and even friends.

Just felt like i have to try different things while im still young. though salary might be low, but to gain experiences and meet much more people.  that's what i need & want right now, gonna live life to the "fullest" . gonna try anything and everything, haha, even if this new job doesn't work out , i already have a Plan B & C.

turns out that im quite a catch( i'd like to think so), cause i already have more job offers. LOL.

Watched Pirates in 3D last night, costs $8, what a waste, no 3D at all, never wanna watch 3D movies in Brunei anymore. but final installment of Harry potter looks very nice in 3D leh, eeeeeee, see how it goes.

Had a late dinner last night, dinner at 10pm! probably should called it supper after the movie. got home and sleep and had another weird dream.

A friend of mine, was working in Supa Save, promoting MILK AND CHOCOLATE SYRUP! and the management even gave him a special "office like " room, he said that the business is doing well, he managed to sell quite a number of milk and chocolate syrup.and quite a lot of aunties are asking him to sell them milk.= =

I was like, what the f, he sold me a carton of milk, and when i got home, the milk turned out to be stale. WTH.><

Why always these weird dreams.

Angry Dream

It's been quite a long rime i dream, so last night i got an angry dream.

i don't know why i can remember this one. and lottery number involved.

This happened in Miri, and for some reasons, Winnie, Judy and Eelynn are there in this dream of mine, so it goes like this, we were in this coffee shop near a sports toto shop and next to it is a bank.

So judy says she wanna buy toto, but before that she need to go to the bank, so she and eelynn went to the bank 1st, i went in few minutes later, then there's this banker lady , not the one sitting one, but those who run errands or whatever at the back, she said something like,

WHY ARE YOU HERE? BUY TOTO NEXT DOOR, etc etc,

i don't remember the entire story, but i remember i started scolding that woman, ( quite harsh from what i can remember), then she left. so after that we go buy toto, and the numbers are what i saw in the bank, 1078 and 5150..i think..hahahah

Lessons in life

Don't feel like blogging coz..

will just post some knowledges which im relating to, in this stage of ma life, which
i stole from people profiles. hmph!

1. Life won't wait for you forever. If you let everything pass you by, you'll never find out how beautiful life can be. Live life, have fun.

2. Not all scars show, not all wounds heal. sometimes you can't always see the pain someone feels.

3. When you think your life "sucks", just think to yourself about how many people have it worse.

4.Do what makes you happy. Be with who makes you smile. Laugh as much as you breath. Love as long as you live.

5. Three steps to move on. CTRL + ALT + DEL. Control yourself, look for an alternative solution & delete the situation that hurts you.

6.Best friends are people who make your problems their problems, just so you don't have to go through them alone.

7.Respect those friends who find time for you in their busy schedule, but really LOVE those who never see their schedule when you need them.

Again, stole these from someone, but sadly, life's don't always goes your way, you can't get everything you want, even though it's something that is very very simple...

Belated Mother's Day post

A belated Mother's Day post.


Once upon a time, i was a kid.and from what i can remembered, my mom has always been  very special.

Normally, a typical mom with follow the child and do everything for them etc, but it's a different with my mom.

From what i can remember in 1996,( should be) the  year i started K2 (kindergarten 2)it was my first day of school, my dad was the one who brought me to school, he took me to my classroom, the teacher came out and greeted me and my dad, i can still vaguely remember the face of my Pregnant teacher, so when i saw her, i started crying, and want to go home, i started "punching" my teacher stomach..LOL! so all in all, my dad brought me home.


When i got home and saw my mom, and different from typical movie scenes, where the mom will come over and hug and say nice things etc etc, my mom greeted me with 藤条，WHY YOU NO GO SCHOOL!? YOU KNOW YOUR DAD PAY FEES LIAO!? whip whip whip

and that's what i remembered from my first day of school, getting canned . Ithink thats the only thing i remember from K2 .lol


Primary time.

Every morning/afternoon, i see Moms/aunties(maid)  carrying the school bags for their kids,waiting patiently outside the classrooms at 4, even though classes don't end at 5.30pm. and as soon as the bells rang, again rushing to pick up their bags, and even doing their chores(sweeping etc) for them. My dad would only pick me up at 6pm where the traffics had cleared up, i would stay in the classroom to sweep and other chores, no mom/aunties to help me.

I buy my own exercise books from the cooperative stores and textbooks from the teacher,might sound kinda petty now, but it's not easy for a primary-ner

When i was in Primary 4, my mom told me and my brother that my dad is busy with work,so we need to take buses home, almost everyday,

while im still in primary 4, my elder brother would accompany me, when i started  primary 5, i was walking to bandar bus station back and forth from school alone. I used to hate my parents for all these, why do i have to take buses to and from school, where the others had maid/drivers, stopping infront of the school building.

I did this until i graduate Form 5, not everyday la, but yeah there are days i did. Even going to The Mall, i would have to take bus from Gadong to Bandar and then back home. Was really really not happy about this back then.

But as i grew older, and i started to understand all of these is to train me and my brothers, comparing ourselves to our peers who are pampered from young, they are sooo spoiled and useless. Seeing secondary students still having their mom/maids carrying their bags for them, some who are so dumb/naive,so dependent on their parents even till now.


I know now, what my parents did are to let us become more independent,and im proud to say im very independent, often being ask, "why you think so much, so far"?, "i think you are born in the wrong era" etc. i may not look like it. but oh well.

Im what i am today because of my mom,. because of her laziness(yes this is undeniable hahaha),and her mindset to train us to become better people.

On mother's day, me and my brother brought the whole family for a mother day meal, and because we are all boys, none of us actually say HAPPY MOTHER's DAY, it's very hard for us to say this apparently, hahaha and because we are all boys , we really don't have much photos taken. this is kinda sad, maybe next time!


She always complained that she didn't have a daughter, and once all her sons got married, we will all move out and leave her alone and dad in the house adding a sigh at the end. and sometimes, when she read the news about abandoned baby girls, in the hospital, she would ask my dad to go see and try to adopt a baby girl. which is often ignored by all of us. hahaha


For some reasons, i don't see my mom getting older, that is until she start complaining she can't read the newspaper anymore and asked me to bring her to the optician, and while waiting she took out the PSP and play Harvest Moon, so i wonder, she's getting old? she used to play ps1 , then ps2 now psp.LOL!

my mom is weird, she's weird like me. im weird because of her? hahahaha though i never said this to her, but i really really love my mom. and i thank her for making the person i am today.


Maybe i will SCAN some pictures of me and her( while young) cos as i mentioned we never take any photos now.

Lots to absorb in a day

For those who plays Facebook, might know that im sick x2 ! 1.Real sick. 2. sick of my job(again)

Normally i just take a couple of pills then ok already one, but this time a bit more serious coz already 3 days of headache, going to the doctors costs $30, anyways, while i was there,the doc told me that

i have Prehypertension (means you're likely to end up with HBP(high blood pressure), unless you take steps to prevent it.)

omg! im such a health conscious people and yet! like this AGAIN!, though she say it might be higher cause im sick though, ask me to go back again in a few weeks time. But still, have to watch my diet liao lo!

While talking bout this, she noticed that i have a squint/juling at my right eye, she recommended me to go to Ripas and see this eye doctor.

( btw this clinic is in Serusop,Dr Amir's and my doc( not Dr Amir) is a very very good doc, she will be my go to doctor from now on!)choy choy choy

So long story short, after a series of tests, found out that my eyes is going 35 degrees sideways(normal is 0), and IF i want to , i can have this operated for BND $1500( not including ward fees and medicines fees) woahh

I'm seriously gonna do it one, its just a matter of when and how to get the money, and remember i just bought the medical card/insurance thingy, i think can claim from there, though have to ask around again for confirmation .

So yeah, that's about it, and my work related issues, i'll just talk about it next time, since everything is not finalize yet.

Yesterday at about 4.15pm, my boss called, asking me to buy cigarettes for him and bring it to JPMC, stupid old fool, about this time,always traffic jam liao one, and i really really hate traffic jams one, i have no patience, got there at 5++ got lost in JPMC.==

wasted all my fuel and credit.ccb! oh and it's been 3months since my last blood donation, so while i was lost, i found this blood donation department, so i go in and inquire something, i saw the nurse, and told her i want to donate blood, with an awe face, she asked me how old am i, i said 20. She seems to be in doubt, then the doctor came out, and asked me the same question, he don't believe also, he said ARE U SURE? U LOOK 16 TO ME.

HOHOHOHOHOHOHOH!!! happy dao i wanna donate straightaway.HAHAHAHAHAHA but cannot coz empty stomach, hahah so maybe this weekend la.

Rewind back to Saturday, i did something i really really regret.You know how you hate squeeky doors? how annoying  that is, normally it's a good thing to apply oil to it.but! if when you are in a office and you are not doing anything useful, you SHOULD not apply oil to squeeky doors!

here's why!

1. when boss come in, YOU DON'T KNOW! ( coz no more squeeky sound anymore~!!) stupid! regret like what. very hard for me to act rajin, when i don't even know he's coming in! eeee!!!

So i mentioned i went to miri, etc etc , so i bought this IRON thing, to iron my clothes, seeing the life demonstration in Parkson, it's really really good! i even tried it! and really really good!! but thn brought it back home! it;s not very very good!! and it costs me RM 168! it was sold in ICC last time...also around that price!! cb china proudct! lie me is japan product! i dono why i so dumb! excited guo tou!! haiz!!!

So im being sponsor to go Miri, so will be going again later on, thus skipping the BBQ at "angel" beach tomorrow, and after my near death experience, i don't think it's a great idea to go the beach anyways, they say "AIYO CAN SIT ON THE BEACH MA" im not tat kind of person, when i see water i must go in one. so yeah, dangerous + the weather nowadays DEADLY!



And i've made my decision to go Philippine this year liao, after that will be Taiwan, but Taiwan trip hard to confirm just yet.

I mentioned about going for this motivation course thingy, previously . So yeah it happened last weekend, at Marriot Hotel ,Miri.It was a 2D1N course, so we stayed in Marriot and had 8 meals fully covered by the hotel.

Ok, let's talk bout Marriot, the best hotel in Miri. and omg! really! have to admit.! EMPIRE HOTEL AND COUNTRY CLUB! SUCK LIKE WHAT!! cannot even compare what 6 star empire! useless! service sucks! employees sucks! no standard at all! always GEK the lc english for what!

Whereas, Marriot an international chain hotel, even in Miri, it's not that easy to get in, that is why the stupid receptionist never GEK the english, you can hear clearly what they are saying. This is the best thing.

Whats more is that , the facility are good also, maybe not sooo many varieties like in Empire and The CC. etc etc, but it's good.

  

Suppose to be 3 person in one room, but i got lucky so only 2 person in a room.

The bed and Empire one agak agak same.

But some how my room got kitchen 1!! hahaha other people don't have!

and the tv is LCD one! knn most of the hotels in Brunei still use the lousy old old tv.even in empire..== men sia soikan!

Enough bout the facilities and all that, \

one of the reason i go is because i don't know what to do with my life after brunei. and the other one is...

let's talk motivation, the course was on SAt and sun, i was hesitating wheather to go or not, then suddenly, i saw something i really cannot endure, i asked myself why is life so unfair , why do people get this and that, why they come from rich family and all those. So i decided to go and see what i can learn from this.



Although all the motivation agak agak all the same one, you have to set your mind to change, if not how many motivation course you go also no result one. etc etc.

so when this speaker was telling how she managed to turn into a rich person, what she say was, i was thinking, how come other people like what dato dato can become rich, he got nose eyes mouth , i got the same thing , how come etc etc, so she decided to set a aim, and work towards it..by...

at the same time, i was thinking bout what happened, how come people is always stealing what i "own" hahaha hard to explain...whatever..so thats about it...i won;t say much, coz it's quite complicated what i did there also.

在一个风雨交接的夜晚，我正打算上床睡觉，忽然间电话响了。

一个蛮久没联络的朋友传了封简讯给我，の, lets go out now.

当时差不多快十点了， 外面还下着雨，虽然如此我还是出去了。上了车，我问他； 我们要去哪里? 他问了我同样的问题， 这么夜了哪儿有地方去哦， 我说。 说以他说带我去我还没去过的地方。 汶大（汶莱大学）

omg! blogging/typing in chinese is soooo hard! and i don't have any high tech chi vocab to me this feel more Class.

So anyways, my friend and i went to UBD, when we got there it;s about 10pm i think, and i still see lots of cars there. He told me they are doing assignments , studying la . hahahhahaha maybe some la...but where got possible so rajin!!

the major things there do in UBD are the letter   "S"

of course S is for studying in the day.

 But at 10pm?, all those cars parked at the dark dark trees covered corner??? hence the other S

SEX! in car! SUCKING LIPS and other body parts in car, or what they called it nowadays Socializing.


Raining somemore! perfect camouflage!! In miri, you find these in beach areas, park, but here, you find it in UBD! HAHAHAHAH!


Not to say, i saw any of the action there, but oh well, seems pretty obvious.

Took 2 days off to go to Miri, to meet up , did some catching up with friends, paying debts, etc.

It's not a very good week, made me a bit down.. Feels like everyone is doing something with their life or what, those kind of things. Not that i'm not doing anything with my own life. but  umm.,something is missing, life is meaningless those kind of feel. you know.

So, been thinking for quite a long time now to quit this job now and move on with my life, so the other day, i finally sent out my resume again, while doing it, i myself feel like it's not a very good one..ahha but what to do...im not motivated to do a v ery nice1 . Will probably send to more companies these coming week, we'll see.

What am i gonna do/ work as after this. i seriously have no idea, not studying for sure. but to work as what? Got this motivational course thingy coming in april, which i'm considering to attend...need more motivations, my friend went and i can see some changes so it might be a good idea for me to go also, coz i'm now stuck, don't know what to do with my life. lol.

why am i always overthinking things....but at least i didn't spent much this trip... stuck in custom for 2 hours..i hate malaysia/ brunei for being so incompetent.

Now, ear block coz swimming again, nose block coz swimming also..aduh! So yesterday i kinda learn how to dive, a 13 year old, new zealand kid taught me. HAHAHAH!!so now i can finally dive! not very gracefully, but at least the pattern is there.

The other day, i say i would buy a medical card/ insurance thingy for myself, and i've got it. So i will have to pay Rm200 per month for the rest of my life, at least until 55 years old that is. wow commitment.

A friend of mine said, wow you're really old, normally only old people buy insurance.

Well, this has nothing to do with age, more to mature thinking. About 300+% of Japanese populations is buying insurance, which means 1 person is buying 3 insurance policies, singapore is also quite high, coz they kiasi..hahaha. whereas in Malaysia, only 40%, yeap 40%, they will always say insurance cheat $$ etc etc. But then soi soi dio disease, no money to pay for surgery/ hospital bills, then go around begging for money etc etc. Typical malaysian mindset.

Don't Worry, i'm not selling insurance policies..im not forcing anyone to buy..hahaha. This is just my thought.

Thinking bout useless thing！

AHHH!! i didn't get a good sleep last night! cos i kept thinking bout the Borneo Bulletin thingy!! im like too excited! ==

But Borneo Bulletin called me yesterday! very chun the timing, i put my phone on silent on the passenger seat, and when i parked my car ,off the engine, and the phone was blinking there, so i answered the phone,

Thinking bout the future?

I'm busy focusing on my "career" now,busy busy. so this will be a very short post.

I don't know why most of my puppies look like old man, HAHA! this is another 1 here in Brunei, though. Look if you can see very very thoroughly you will see that this is a MUTANT! got 12 paws!! seriously!
