Technology Impact on our Society Nowadays

3.26am

It's 3.26am on a saturday night, i can't sleep coz im working & hungry. But i do sleep at work though, because i is not a robot! urgh. Been working the midnight shift for 2 weeks straight. coz i don't have any transport, since my motorbike was stolen at my work place .....yea..sucks...made police report, police are useless. Report to insurance company, they say need 6 months investigation.....

On heavier news, last month on my birthday, my dad was rush to the hospital, he was hospitalized for 3 weeks, unfortunately he did not get better and pass away on April 8. It was too sudden, but we have come to accept it , life goes on.He pass away peacefully, and is in a better place now.

 So now there's alot of paper works to do, both in brunei and miri.

My mom and brothers will move back to miri and stay in the miri home, so alot of things have to be brought to miri too. My parents have been in brunei for about 3 decades, and now it's time to leave Brunei.

So now, more responsibilities on me and my brother, we have to take care of the family, it's good that we are all grown up now and independent, so now cannot anyhow quit job and rest for 9 months, no work no money no eat! Can't really impulse buy anymore. have to spend money wisely and eat money anywhere i can!

So many went wrong with the funeral services, only in brunei! useless! but no point talking bout it anymore. too long story also. I took about 1 week leave to tend to my father funeral service. And after one week , went back to work , and motorbike got stolen....

haiz, like i said, life goes on. angry and cry also useless.......

I forgot i have a blog.

wahhhhh, last post was on January 9th. wahhhh almost 2 months ah..time really flies.

Guess i have been very busy and also lazy to update this blog who i think nobody reads but me.lol

So here i am, working the midnight shift again, haven't started anything, but those can easily be done in like half an hour. Quite a lot  of things happened, and it would be almost impossible for me to list it down here, way too much stuff in these 3 short and fast months of work. Time really flies when you are in your twenties.

Almost everyone i know are working now, they all have their accomplishment, stress at work. Guess this is what an adult is suppose to do/feel. Not sure if im growing up and have more responsibilities. Coz, my friend said that i complain less? he said normally i bitch about everything. but now quite seldom? hahaha i have no idea.

I do "lead" people here at work, since im the one in-charge of the whole department, of course the stress is there, from management and also from staffs. but well what to do. stuck in middle then like that one lo.

But somehow, im quite ok with the job now. Salary wise is ok. colleagues wise ok. Boss's will be bosses.

Not really sure what's the topic/purpose of this post really, jumping here and there, not organized at all. Perhaps, just practicing my typing speed.lol

daily routines

so , work kinda sucks.

Details!

It's a new hotel, owned by a rich family. So basically every family members are the BOSS.

What do i do at work?

Basically everything, but that's ok i suppose since im not really doing any "Real" work at the moment, so ok la, i use it to "buang boring"

how to say, it gets worse everyday, not sure is WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITIES or what

Everyday kena diao, not because i do wrong thing, but because they are angry and has no one to scold, walau, everyday lie there also kena tembak. 

Well i guess this is work, but but but, how to say, i can't even post my rants on facebook, coz i think boss can see, since both me and him are the facebook page admins. sigh. so no choice have to rant here, this blog who nobody sees and read. lol

so eg, im being asked to set the rates of the rooms in the hotel.

Day 1

Set liao and big boss say ok

Day 2

anak boss see liao, say not ok, so i changed, then anak boss say ok.

Day 3

Lady boss see liao say not ok, so i changed again

and then the cycle repeat almost everyday, walau eh, what say u??

oh well, what to do, follow nia lo

And also, they being no hotel experience, asked us( staff who has worked in hotels before) for suggestions, we gave it and they don't wanna follow it. aiya, like that why ask~~

Very typical work problems la, i think if im a normal staff, i would be very happy, but just because im the "head of department" i have more responsibilities on my shoulder, do what also kena diao. i think this is call growing and learning to be a better person/ things like that? lol

So these experiences will someday helps me in my life journey and i will be successful and etc? these are the things you normally see in self help/motivations books kan? lol

Well, true also la, take these experiences to help myself grow , learn more and etc. 

one cannot be in the comfort zone forever one kannnn? cannot be an entry level staff forever kannnn?

i will become manager soon kannnn? lolol

so these is my work life, everyone else in the world also like this maaaa..kannnn !lol

Soooo, 3 weeks since i started work.

The hotel is not opened yet so basically we just go there and do nothing.

Like i said before the bosses have no hotel knowledge at all, so i gave them my input/suggestions base on my suggestions, they either nod and ignore or ask me atur. wtf, this is your company , not mine. i give you some suggestions, then you decide lo.

aiya, not yet work already tension. hahaha will see how it goes la.

i wanted this tape thing on the glass doors , but boss says no. Wtf. our counter is directly opposite of the road and moving traffics, those passing cars , those reflection off the windows are blinding me! salary not enough/won't possibly be enough to take care of my eyes! ishhhh. everyday painful eyes!

they cover up the ugly tiles already.

So at work, my colleague and i kept on browsing through Zalora.

Very very good !

1. can COD so no need scare pay liao, the stuff no sampai.
2. can returned the item FOC.  so even if salah size then can send back for free
3. customer service very good
4.quality not bad

Because normally online shopper biggest worries are those few things, pay liao no arrive la, reach liao size not ngam la, quality different from pic la.

but with zalora really no need scare eh. hahah coz i really buy salah size and sent back, FOC and then the correct size reach me in 2 days.

and also, many vouchers! lol


Condoms and tissue dispenser in miri!?!? omg! in merdeka mall somemore. lol

So anyways, the hotel/inn is opening soon january 14. will see how looo...

no heart already. lol! not yet start work already many complains! zzz

Work!

Sooooo I have been working for 2 days now, so far so good, coz the hotel isn't really ready yet, so there's nothing much to do but to learn the hotel system .

And working hour is 9am-4am with 1 and a half hour lunch break. How good is tat?! How I wish my working hours really is like that hahah

I was afraid I won't get paid coz you know we basically do nothing there ,but boss told me today we ARE getting paid! Yay! 

So far the bosses are kinda good to us, they do not have any hotel knowledge so I sometimes give them some ideas here and there.  What I can say is so far so good la. Cannot get my hopes up, must assume all boss are bad. Hahaha

Hmmm what else, hopefully they get more manpower when the business starts and get better. And let's hope the hotel got good business so that I can get an increment and not get fired hahah

The sofas soo ahpek hahah but very comfy, if put at home and watch tv, but for a modern hotel can't la; maybe gonna change it. Not very sure

Wahhh time flies, last post was 2 weeks ago!? felt like just yesterday i blogged.

Finished the games i bought already, borrow games from friends and turns out, cannot support.Aiya coz of diffrent region console.><" pui


So im thinking of gettting a PS3 since the ps4 is out, ps3 will drop price! yes!

My youngest brother graduated and in his form 5 senior prom thing, he got prom king, whoaaa! kids nowadays grow up so fast . hahaha!

Friend bought me HDMI cable coz to play GTA 5 without HDMI cable is a insult to the game , it would seems. lol

the fav car i like to steal, "range rover" hahah cannot afford in real life . TT

Went for dim sum breakfast at mega hotel the other day, not bad , but no more soon. coz business bad i suppose

So i interview and got a job, working at a INN(they say hotel, but is inn la) the inn not ready yet, so im not sure when i will start work. probably mid december.

i think i will be the highest position/ranking there, since the people told me they didn't employ any manager. Eeee so mafan, means i have to handle everything and stay late and expect call middle of the night if something happened at the inn. wtf, maybe need ask for raise, HAHAHA! not yet start work already rant and complains.

Will see  how it goes la, it's a job. Probably have to do long hours and multitask alot! do other department job and etc, since its new and a small establishment. will see how it goes la.

at the end, back to "hotel" job again, can't break the pattern. haizzzz/./.

You see no parking! mana staff park? where those humans wanna park? hmmm. gonna get complain lo.. then i have to deal and handle! ahhhh mafan ness!
